MJ Church deploy Safe Hub to protect lone workers

Lone Worker Solutions is delighted to announce that it has signed a contract to provide lone worker protection to MJ Church. A team of the company’s fitting engineers will access our lone worker safety system via our dedicated SOS Fob devices. Safe Hub will provide emergency and reactive support, thanks to the powerful technology used by these devices.

Safe Hub set to protect MJ Church’s fitting engineers

M J Church is one of the largest civil engineering, earthworks and waste management contractors in South-West England. Established in 1974, the company’s diverse business ranges from providing skips through to multi-million-pound civil engineering contracts. M J Church Ltd is committed to providing the highest level of service to its customers.

A team of the company’s fitting engineers works around the clock in sometimes hazardous environments. We are deploying Safe Hub to provide them with emergency and reactive support. The company has chosen SOS Fob devices to provide their engineers with lone worker protection. These dedicated devices use voice and data connections to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) to offer a number of our support features. With the reactive Worker Down feature, we harness the power of motion and shock sensors to get lone workers help in the event of a slip, trip or fall. Lone workers can access immediate emergency help via Red Alert, while they can share vital contextual information which could assist in such an emergency using Yellow Alert.

Personalised risk profiles within a single monitoring system

The power of the Safe Hub system is its flexibility and the fact that support can be tailored to individual users. Each lone worker is set up with their personalised risk profile, including any medical information, personal contacts and tailored escalation protocols. They can easily activate their profile at the beginning of their shift. This means that these devices can also be shared between team members. Every individual lone worker can therefore get the precise help they need as soon as they need it.
