Safe Hub is now part of the Procurement for Housing Framework

Lone Worker Solutions is now part of the Procurement for Housing Framework (PfH)

Lone Worker Solutions is delighted to announce our selection onto the Procurement for Housing (PfH) Framework. PfH is a national procurement consortium for the social housing sector, whose members collectively manage over 75% of the UK’s social housing stock. The new four-year Framework agreement has launched in February 2019 to replace a previous agreement. Its completion follows a competitive tender process run under the auspices of the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) in late 2018.

The Framework agreement intends to make procurement of lone worker protection and consultancy services a simple and efficient process for current PfH members. Additionally, it covers any registered providers of social housing, local authorities or arm’s length management organisations, which become PfH members during the agreement period. Companies within the Framework must adhere to the high standards demanded by the PfH. Lone Worker Solutions is thus demonstrating that we will work for the benefit of all PfH members’ employees, tenants and other stakeholders.

The PfH Framework covers all Safe Hub apps and devices

PfH members will be able to access the full range of our apps and devices within our proprietary Safe Hub lone worker protection system. Safe Hub is certified to BS8484:2016 standards and holds the coveted Secured by Design award. Whether they choose to lease or purchase our devices, we commit to offering the lowest possible pricing for PfH member housing providers within the Framework.

PfH members can choose between two different methods of supply. Under the Framework Agreement, contracts may be awarded directly using the “cascade method” to suppliers according to the ranking of their tenders for places on the Framework. Alternatively, PfH members whose requirements are slightly different may need to reopen competition on price or specific ordering or delivery arrangements for services. This may include available methods of ordering, time of delivery, place of delivery, or specific quality/design and social value requirements.

Peace of mind for PfH health and safety teams

By being approved into the Framework agreement, Lone Worker Solutions passed a number of stringent tests within the tender process. Of course, we’ve shown that we have robust policies and procedures around business continuity and quality assurance. But more importantly we’ve been able to prove that we can provide value for money and positive social impact to PfH members who decide to use our services.

Crucially, our usual managed service approach supports our presence in the PfH Framework. This allows us to deploy Safe Hub quickly and easily to PfH members at the lowest possible cost across a range of contract terms. Our simple and effective rollout programme for Safe Hub focuses on putting end-users first. We break through the fear barrier at the outset with extensive training and support, to ensure lone workers are entirely comfortable with all Safe Hub features. And over the course of every contract, our dedicated account management team is there to provide unparalleled back-up and support.

“Being an approved supplier within the PfH Framework is a huge accolade for Lone Worker Solutions. We already protect lone workers for a number of social housing providers, and are very proud of the service we deliver for them. As part of the Framework, we can demonstrate that our managed service approach provides excellent value for money in protecting PfH members’ lone workers.” George Stavrinidis, Lone Worker Solutions Chief Executive Officer
