Safe Hub means it’ll be a safe Christmas for lone workers

December is always a time of year to reflect on the past 12 months, as well as looking to the future. This December it’s of course particularly poignant as it marks the end of a decade as well as the end of a year. For us here at Lone Worker Solutions, the last year has been a fantastic one. We’ve customised our lone worker safety system for new clients across a range of economic sectors. We’ve been accepted as a nominated supplier on national frameworks. And as for the perspective over the decade, we’ve built the business up from the ground in less than ten years, using a powerful range of technologies.

But as well as musing on the past and anticipating the future, we remember the present too. For lone workers active during the holidays, it’s vital to ensure them a safe Christmas. With Safe Hub on their side, these lone workers have access to a range of help when they need it.

National supplier frameworks for lone worker safety systems

We’re hugely proud of Safe Hub, our lone worker safety system. We’re now a nominated supplier in the three national frameworks for public-sector procurement in the UK. Most recently, earlier in 2019, we were chosen for the Procurement for Housing (PfH) Framework Agreement. PfH is a national procurement consortium for the social housing sector. This follows our selection to the NHS Supply Chain Framework, and the G-Cloud 11 Crown Commercial Service supplier framework in 2018.

We have a roster of clients across housing, healthcare, government bodies and beyond. We now protect tens of thousands of lone workers across the UK and North America. Looking ahead to 2020, we’ll continue to focus our efforts on providing the best lone worker protection on the market. We constantly strive to innovate and develop our services, so look out for new products and features over the coming year.

Just because it’s December, don’t compromise lone worker safety

The other thing that often happens in December is that businesses drift. Decision-making cycles are structured so that decisions are often put off until the new year. Even business as usual can be put on hold. At Lone Worker Solutions, it’s our business to protect lone workers – so we don’t let up for even one minute.

Should any lone worker get into trouble over the festive season, they can expect the same service as at any other time of year. Our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) operates 24/7/365 – and we’re there to respond when needed. Whether it’s emergency support from a worker triggering a Red Alert, or reactive Worker Down help, we’ve got them covered.

We’d like to wish all our clients and their lone and remote workers a very merry and safe Christmas – and a wonderful new year (and decade) to come.
